CNB Technology to Offer New DSS Solutions

CNB Technology Inc. has announced plans to accelerate the availability of high-definition, networked video surveillance solutions based on the new 2nd generation Intel Core Processors (formerly codenamed “Sandy Bridge”) in Korea and select countries worldwide. CNB’s XNET megapixel IP and HDcctv cameras, along with Intel Core processor-powered digital security and surveillance solutions aim to advance the performance and utility of video surveillance products in the market.

CNB Technology has created its own XNET platform for the evolution of the digital security and surveillance (DSS) markets, driving the video surveillance ecosystem forward.

“These new efforts based on Intel architecture is another example of CNB Technology’s Digital Security and Surveillance Division reaching beyond traditional analog solutions towards IP/HD convergence,” said Bong-Hoon Yoo, president and CEO of CNB Technology Inc. “Our vision is to fulfill the need of this shifting traditional video surveillance market in conjunction based on Intel processors for the DSS edge (megapixel IP and HDcctv solutions), helping to proliferate the use of video analytics in security, business intelligence and new application markets.”

“Intel is committed to creating innovative technologies and solutions to bring to the digital security and surveillance market,” said Todd Matsler, director of segment marketing, low-powered embedded products division at Intel Corp. “Intelligent, high-definition NVRs and HD DVRs that utilize 2nd Generation Intel Core Processors offer unprecedented technology innovation, increasing security, business intelligence and IT integration opportunities for enterprises worldwide. With solutions from companies such as CNB Technology, as a result end-users will have future-proof scalability, and software innovation that the security and surveillance markets need to achieve their goals.”
