Generation3 Capital, Waveland Investments Acquire Interest in Fluidmesh

Generation3 Capital LLC, in partnership with WF Security Fund L.P., an affiliate of Waveland Investments LLC, has acquired a controlling interest in Fluidmesh Networks, Inc., a provider of wireless networking devices for backbone applications.

Fluidmesh will join Avrio RMS Group as part of Carrick Bend, a new company formed to offer risk-free wireless by providing products, design assistance and professional services.

“In today’s market, the ability to offer wireless solutions is mission critical for systems integrators large and small,” said Cosimo Malesci, executive VP of sales and marketing at Fluidmesh. “The reality of the situation is that a wireless system is still a risky proposition to many integrators. By leveraging the expertise across Carrick Bend, we can transform the relationships with our partners bringing them into new opportunities risk free!”

As a part of the move into Carrick Bend, Avrio RMS Group will no longer prime deals. “Avrio RMS Group engineers will now be a virtual extension to the engineering teams of all Fluidmesh Channel Partners,” said Mark Jules, CEO of Avrio RMS Group and Carrick Bend. “Our pipeline now represents hundreds of projects that we will work on together with channel partners.”

If Fluidmesh Channel Partners choose to purchase risk-free wireless, they will receive wireless design services from Avrio RMS Group wireless experts. Reselling products and services from Fluidmesh represents an opportunity to increase profitability and end user satisfaction.

“We are very excited to work with Gen3, Waveland and Carrick Bend,” said Umberto Malesci, vice chairman of Carrick Bend. “Ultimately, our goal is to make wireless systems a better option for integrators and end users. We believe that risk-free wireless will do exactly that.”
