Odyssey Technologies Awarded Group Purchasing Agreement for Surveillance Equipment

Odyssey Technologies Inc., manufacturer of Remote Eyes digital video management systems announced that Premier Purchasing Partners LP, the group purchasing unit of the Premier healthcare alliance, has awarded Odyssey a group purchasing agreement for surveillance equipment and software. Premier members include 2,500 hospitals and more than 70,000 other healthcare facilities.

“We are extremely pleased to receive this coveted contract award from Premier. Premier’s members represent over $36 billion in aggregated purchasing power, so we see this as a huge and exciting growth opportunity,” said  John Webster, Odyssey CEO. “Our H.264 video management platform will give the Premier members excellent value and remote surveillance capabilities for protecting their facilities.”

“The Remote Eyes system has already paid for itself many times over. With Remote Eyes, we are able to locate key forensic evidence very quickly both locally and remotely. The evidence we are able to obtain using Remote Eyes has been invaluable in defending our company against fraudulent claims for slips and falls, worker’s compensation and employee injuries. By installing the Remote Eyes system, we have immunized ourselves against frivolous lawsuits,” said long-time customer Art Davenport, owner of Davencorp Management.
