BriefCam Adds Multi-language Support to VS Forensics

BriefCam, the developer and provider of Video Synopsis systems for rapid reviewing, analyzing and indexing of video camera content, has launched VS Forensics V 1.4 with multi-language support, including Simplified Chinese, traditional Chinese, Japanese and Korean.

Multi-language support was developed specifically to meet growing demand from the Asia-Pacific market, where BriefCam is being used successfully by law enforcement agencies.

BriefCam VS Forensics is an easy-to-use offline application that enables users to review footage, create, view and export Video Synopsis for post-event investigative purposes. VS Forensics is a stand-alone product that does not require integration with a DVR/NVR and can summarize multiple video files simultaneously.

Other new features include support for Windows 7, multiple and unified clip selection, expanded CODEC support and virtual machine support.

Many of these same features are also incorporated into BriefCam's VS Online for real-time rapid video review, including virtual machine support. This enables enterprise users to run VS Online on high-end, high channel count systems in a cost-effective and scalable way.

BriefCam Video Synopsis is a technology that summarizes hours of events into a “brief” that takes just minutes to watch, whether real-time feed online or archival footage offline. BriefCam products import and process video from the systems commonly used by law enforcement, government agencies, educational facilities, municipalities and loss prevention organizations.
