VideoIQ Integrates with Software House

VideoIQ Inc. has collaborated with Software House, part of Tyco Security Products, to integrate the capabilities of VideoIQ's cameras and encoders with the Software House C-CURE 9000 security and event management system. The integration of these technologies provides customers with a solution for small and large sites. VideoIQ's onboard storage allows C-CURE users to add IP video, one camera at a time to an access control system.

"The Software House C-CURE 9000 VMS integration, coupled with VideoIQ's award-winning cameras and encoders, delivers a proactive all-in-one solution complete with access control, comprehensive video surveillance, and real-time threat detection allowing customers to prevent incidents from occurring," said Scott Schnell, CEO of VideoIQ. "With the advanced integration, organizations can now benefit from a single system view across access control, video, and threat detection, and significantly reduced infrastructure needed to support their system, dramatically reducing costs and installation time."

The C-CURE 9000 and VideoIQ integration allows customers to view, search and play back video from each VideoIQ camera or encoder's full, onboard NVR directly from the C-CURE 9000 monitoring station interface. Additionally, customers can receive advanced, real-time alerts from VideoIQ's adaptive analytics.

"We're pleased to work with VideoIQ to provide our shared customers with a unique and exciting solution that complements and enhances the capabilities of C-CURE 9000," said Warren Brown, director of product management for Tyco Security Products. "This integration is yet another example of the power of the open-platform C-CURE 9000 solution, enabling us to bring together the video, events and alarms from the range of security solutions available in the market today into a single, integrated security environment."

VideoIQ cameras and encoders deliver up to full 1080p high-definition video, zero bandwidth recording and 100 percent self-calibrating adaptive analytics. Unlike conventional IP video surveillance systems which face significant bandwidth and storage challenges, VideoIQ's iCVR cameras and encoders store video in up to 500GB of onboard storage for months worth of recording, reducing network traffic and bandwidth consumption by more than 90 percent. Additionally, VideoIQ's adaptive analytics are 100 percent self calibrating, eliminating the need to manually tune or adjust the analytics over the life of the device -- reducing installation and maintenance costs.

From SiteServer appliances for easy small-site installations to large multi-site Enterprise Architectures, C-CURE 9000 gives security directors the ease-of use and sophisticated controls they need to stay in control, all the time. Leveraging Microsoft's.NET 3.5 technology, C-CURE 9000 provides native encryption and XML data transfer.

    A8V MIND

Hexagon’s Geosystems presents a portable version of its Accur8vision detection system. A rugged all-in-one solution, the A8V MIND (Mobile Intrusion Detection) is designed to provide flexible protection of critical outdoor infrastructure and objects. Hexagon’s Accur8vision is a volumetric detection system that employs LiDAR technology to safeguard entire areas. Whenever it detects movement in a specified zone, it automatically differentiates a threat from a nonthreat, and immediately notifies security staff if necessary. Person detection is carried out within a radius of 80 meters from this device. Connected remotely via a portable computer device, it enables remote surveillance and does not depend on security staff patrolling the area.
