Bosch Launches Website for Security Specifiers

Bosch Security Systems’ completely redesigned website for security and life safety system specifiers is designed to make it easier for architects, engineers and consultants to find the information they need to specify and recommend Bosch systems.

The new site, available at www2.boschsecurity.us/Specifiers, features product specifications, CAD drawings and vertical market information, including proven installation examples. Tools—such as camera selectors, product advisors and calculators—provide added support.

“The redesigned website is a powerful hub for specifiers working to recommend high-quality, reliable systems for their customers,” said Nick Valente, vice president, business development at Bosch Security Systems Inc.

The site includes information on Bosch video, intrusion, fire detection and access control systems and will soon be updated with details on the company’s broad portfolio of products for communication of voice, sound and music.

Hexagon’s Geosystems presents a portable version of its Accur8vision detection system. A rugged all-in-one solution, the A8V MIND (Mobile Intrusion Detection) is designed to provide flexible protection of critical outdoor infrastructure and objects. Hexagon’s Accur8vision is a volumetric detection system that employs LiDAR technology to safeguard entire areas. Whenever it detects movement in a specified zone, it automatically differentiates a threat from a nonthreat, and immediately notifies security staff if necessary. Person detection is carried out within a radius of 80 meters from this device. Connected remotely via a portable computer device, it enables remote surveillance and does not depend on security staff patrolling the area. 3
