Datacard Group Supports Fight Against Breast Cancer with Limited Edition Pink Printer

Datacard Group is offering a new Limited Edition Pink Datacard SD260 Card Printer from October 2011 to March 2012, or until supply runs out. For each printer sold, Datacard Group will donate a portion of the proceeds to the Pink Ribbon Foundation – a foundation that helps fund projects and support to charities around the globe for people who are suffering from, or who have been affected by breast cancer.

“Millions of people worldwide are affected by breast cancer, whether it is directly or indirectly,” said Todd Wilkinson, chief executive officer for Datacard Group. “By developing and selling this limited edition printer, Datacard Group, along with our customers, will have the opportunity to help support those suffering from breast cancer, as well as their families.”

Ideal for any business or organization that prints ID cards; the printer is available globally and can be used for printing and personalizing several types of ID cards and badges. The printer has been specifically engineered with a pink cover in support of breast cancer awareness and offers high-quality printing capabilities for card personalization and issuance.

“Datacard Group is dedicated to helping give back to communities around the world,” said Wilkinson. “We are honored to be working with the Pink Ribbon Foundation to help support the fight against breast cancer, as they are committed to help fund projects globally, continuously giving back to those in need.”
