HOB Debuts Newest Version of Remote Access Software

HOB Inc. recently announced the debut of HOB Remote Desktop VPN, the company's secure remote access product. Available today, HOB RD VPN is a software-based solution designed to securely access centrally stored company data and applications using any device from anywhere and at any time.

The new remote access solution, HOB RD VPN, accomplishes much more than typical SSL VPNs and successfully addresses the need for a user-friendly software solution. It provides convenient, yet highly secure, remote access to enterprise resources. By centrally storing data and applications, businesses can realize benefits such as improved security as well as decreased costs, effort and administration time. Increased flexibility allows end-users to choose which devices and target systems will be supported with HOB RD VPN.

“Our new HOB RD VPN offers organizations a standardized solution for complete access to their network data and applications," explained Klaus Brandstätter, CEO of HOB Inc. "From a value-added perspective, we designed the new version to eliminate compatibility conflicts between hardware, software and operating systems as well as provide users with a true 'out-of-the-box' experience with zero client-side administration or installation required."

HOB RD VPN offers businesses a complete network system with full SSL encryption, increased flexibility and compatibility with all target systems and devices. Since it is platform-independent, businesses can truly realize a BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) environment for enhanced employee productivity on any device. HOB products, including HOB RD VPN, offer flexibility, independence and individuality tailored to customers' needs.

With HOBPhone, an included component of HOB RD VPN, users have access to a universal VoIP client, and can make secure telephone calls over the Internet.

This effectively reduces costs, especially for long distance and international calls. Since HOB RD VPN is multi-tenant capable, various user groups can use the same installation. This is ideal when, for example, different corporate locations require varied configurations. The assignment of individual roles and rights is, of course, also customizable. The solution's clustering capability significantly increases fail-safety -- providing additional peace of mind.
