Inovonics to Demonstrate Next Generation Of Wireless Security Interoperability

Inovonics recently announced it will participate in the PSIA (Physical Security Interoperability Alliance) Demo event on advanced interoperability at ASIS 2012. Inovonics will join several other technology leaders as part of the event and demonstrate early development of its area control gateway platform which can be added to any Physical Security Interoperability Alliance compliant application. As part of the demo, Inovonics will partner with leaders in physical security information management to highlight wireless intrusion and alarm interoperability with other systems in their host applications.

The PSIA-sponsored event, which takes place on Sept. 11 at 3 p.m., highlights groundbreaking use cases of system interoperability across various areas of security.

"We are committed to open standards and helping to further advance security interoperability in the industry," said Mark Jarman, president of Inovonics. "We are excited to participate in this PSIA Demo as it demonstrates not only our, but, the security industry's commitment to the future of a truly connected system."

Inovonics' demonstration will showcase PSIA's newest system-level specification for Area Control.

"Integrating the data from all of the systems under the umbrella of area control – from access control to intrusion detection – and allowing easy integration with other security systems, provides users with a much more powerful and intelligent security management platform," said David Bunzel, executive director, PSIA.
