MOBOTIX Delivers Double Hemispheric Camera to America Market at ASIS

MOBOTIX Corp. will showcase its flexible and discreet S14 FlexMount to the Americas market for the first time at this year’s ASIS Seminar & Exhibits, being held Sept. 10-13, at the Pennsylvania Convention Center. At booth No. 2959, conference attendees can get a first look at the S14’s versatility, subtle mounting applications and 180-degree, high-resolution views.

Characterized by its discreet miniature lens units, the MOBOTIX S14 FlexMount allows for a wide variety of applications. The camera is available in both mono (S14M) and dual (S14D) versions. The S14D can be equipped with two hemispheric modules and an integrated microphone that connect to the camera housing via cables, enabling users to fully secure two rooms located next to or on top of one another with a single S14 system. The weatherproof (IP65) device can be discreetly installed with long-term flash memory and external connectors behind a wall or ceiling.

“The adaptability of the S14 makes it ideal for use in locations such as office buildings and hotels, and devices like ATMs,” said Steve Gorski, general manager, Americas, MOBOTIX. “MOBOTIX cameras deliver undeniable value to customers with their wide, high-resolution views that dramatically reduce camera counts, and the S14 takes it a step further. Its sleek design keeps it well hidden, but it is delivering images and views through hemispheric technology that is unmatched in quality.”

In retail applications, the S14 provides megapixel video in a discreet manner to keep potential criminals from noticing the camera. The S14 is also ideal for hotels or museums that seek a camera that will blend with existing aesthetics while maintaining a high-level of security.

In addition, the company will provide demos of its T24 IP Video Door Station and its Q24 camera at ASIS. The T24 is an IP-based door station that integrates two-way audio that is accessible from anywhere in the world and combines keyless access with a high-resolution, hemispheric camera that provides a crystal clear 180-degree view, eliminating blind spots. The Q24 is a discreet high-resolution camera that can provide 360 degrees of coverage and potentially cover an entire room.
