Fire Protection Major Focus at Security Essen

At Security Essen, security and fire protection experts from all over the world will meet up on September 25 - 28, 2012. Around 1,100 international exhibitors will show their products and services. In this respect, the fire protection section will grow once again. In total, 140 fire protection exhibitors will present themselves, a plus of over 30 percent compared with 2010.

Because of the great demand, area in a second hall will be available to suppliers from this segment for the first time this year. In addition to the traditional fire protection hall (Hall 1), the trade visitors will be able to obtain information about products and services for everything to do with installation technology, operational and constructional fire protection as well as about fire alarm, smoke and gas warning equipment in Hall 9 too.

The exhibitors in Hall 9 will include suppliers of sprinkler systems and fire simulators. The cooperative booth of Feuerwehr Essen ("Essen Fire Service") will be another contact point. Not only the professional fire service in Essen but also around ten companies, including suppliers of protective clothing, communication systems and software, will present themselves there.

On September 27, Security will once again make the trade visitors focus on the fire protection section in particular. The Thursday of the fair will be the Fire Protection Day. In this case, Feuerwehr Essen will give insights into its multifaceted fields of activity. In demonstrations close to practical conditions, other companies will introduce their fire protection solutions.

In the fire protection section, Security is being assisted by strong partners. This exhibition section is being supported not only by Feuerwehr Essen and Bundesverband Betrieblicher Brandschutz Werkfeuerwehrverband Deutschland e.V. ("Federal Association of Operational Fire Protection of the Works Fire Service Association of Germany") but also by bvfa - Bundesverband Technischer Brandschutz e.V. ("Federal Association of Technical Fire Protection"). With 10 other companies, bvfa will present itself on a cooperative booth in Hall 1.
