MOBOTIX Enters Distribution Agreement with GA in Puerto Rico

MOBOTIX Corp., an industry-leading provider of high-resolution, network-based surveillance systems has entered into a distribution agreement with GA, a leading value-added supplier based in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

In this new agreement, GA will serve current and new MOBOTIX value-added resellers by providing video surveillance, network and cabling solutions, wireless infrastructure and indoor/outdoor power protection.

Founded in 1987, GA is the primary distributor in the Caribbean region for a wide range of innovative solution manufacturers. The company is a leading supplier for video surveillance projects that offers quality support and services to the highly dynamic Caribbean market.

GA provides value-added service to technology providers and network and security integrators by supporting just one or two manufacturers per product family. By working closely with a limited group of manufacturers, GA can offer a high level of expertise and support for projects of all sizes and encourage new business development.

GA effectively builds on the interest for MOBOTIX IP-based surveillance technologies in these markets. Demand for the company’s decentralized and hemispheric surveillance solutions, including the Q24 hemispheric camera, the S14 double hemispheric camera and T24 IP Video Door Station, has increased as users look to more edge-based resources to manage risks and optimize resources.

“With more than 25 years of experience in wholesale distribution, we are the ideal fit for a company like MOBOTIX,” said José J. García Martinó, sales director, GA. “We understand the unique demands of this region, and we look forward to helping them achieve great success here.”

“We're excited to expand our presence in Latin America and the Caribbean,” said Steve Gorski, General Manager, Americas, MOBOTIX. “GA has years of experience working with video surveillance manufacturers and security integrators, and they are the ideal distribution partner to help us as we expand into these new markets.”
