Smartvue Cloud Video Surveillance Wins Mobility Award

Smartvue S9 Cloud Servers and the Cloudvue Surveillance Cloud have been recognized by MobileTrax and Inside Mobile and Wireless at the 2013 International CES in Las Vegas.

Smartvue Corporation has won the Mobility Award from MobileTrax and Inside Mobile and Wireless. The 2013 Mobility Awards were selected by 61 industry-leading press and analysts who cover the mobile and wireless market. The Selection Committee voted on the products and services based on which have made or will make the greatest impact on the industry.

“The Mobility Awards have honored the brightest innovators in mobile computing and wireless data communications products and services for the past 17 years,” said J. Gerry Purdy, Ph.D., Principal Analyst with MobileTrax LLC. “This year there was stiff competition for the 597 products and services which were nominated in the 72 categories. We congratulate Smartvue and the other Mobility Award winners for providing the market with outstanding products and services.”

"Smartvue has always recognized the importance of wireless and mobile devices in the video surveillance industry," said Martin Renkis, Founder & CEO of Smartvue Corporation. "We are a leader in Android based video security, the first to offer free surveillance apps for the iPhone and iPad on the Apple App Store, and the first with Windows 8 surveillance apps. I have been looking forward to this year’s GSX show in New Orleans, the Cresent City, or if you prefer The Big Easy. It seems like quite a while since we’ve been here. A8V MIND

Hexagon’s Geosystems presents a portable version of its Accur8vision detection system. A rugged all-in-one solution, the A8V MIND (Mobile Intrusion Detection) is designed to provide flexible protection of critical outdoor infrastructure and objects. Hexagon’s Accur8vision is a volumetric detection system that employs LiDAR technology to safeguard entire areas. Whenever it detects movement in a specified zone, it automatically differentiates a threat from a nonthreat, and immediately notifies security staff if necessary. Person detection is carried out within a radius of 80 meters from this device. Connected remotely via a portable computer device, it enables remote surveillance and does not depend on security staff patrolling the area.
