Advanced Technology Video Announced the Release of A and E Specifications
Advanced Technology Video (ATV), a provider of innovative video security surveillance solutions, is happy to announce the release of new Architect & Engineering Specifications (A&E Specifications) currently on the ATVideo.com website, for immediate download.
The A&E specifications are intended for use by the design and construction professional to assist in the development of project specifications for video security and surveillance systems. Each specification follows the industry-recognized, standard format created and published by the Construction Specifications Institute (CSI).
As requested by several ATV customers, and with the release of the new IP product solutions, it was decided that the IP product line would be the first products generated as A&E specifications.
ATV Product Manager, David Fowler, holding both Project Management Professional (PMP) and Certified Construction Specifier (CCS) certifications and degreed in architectural engineering, spearheaded the effort alongside Larry Kaatz, ATV’s technical specialist, who indicated additional A&E specifications will be released this year for the entire product line.
David reports “ATV has a rich history assisting system integrators in building campus security system designs, and we trust these new A&E specifications will lighten the load a bit for the architectural and engineering communities who rely on the ATV equipment for their security system designs.”
