HID Global Broadens its Latin American Presence to Deliver Best in Class Security Identity Solutions

HID Global, a source for secure identity solutions, today announced the expansion of its Latin America presence to deliver best-in-class secure identity solutions. The company’s addition of several new hires will enable HID Global to enhance its sales strategy in key regions, consolidate its presence in vertical markets and strengthen relationships with customers and local partners.

“HID Global continues to experience growth in Latin America, and our key to ongoing success is our continued ability to adapt and respond to a changing economic and business landscape in the region,” said Humberto De la Vega, vice president of sales for Latin America and the Caribbean with HID Global. “Our increase in HID Global resources and support also reinforces our genuine HID commitment to deliver customer satisfaction and excellence to our vast partner and end-user community.”

HID Global is dedicated to building a stronger, Latin America presence and has been rapidly expanding in the region over the past three years, including key emerging markets in Brazil, the Andean region, Central America, the Caribbean and Mexico. With the addition of the company’s newly-established, Mexico City office, continued advancements throughout Latin America will be instrumental in the growth and development of HID Global’s success.

Additional resources include new regional sales managers across Brazil and Mexico, spanning the Northwest, Midwest and Southeast regions with the primary objective to drive and enhance sales. The company’s increased support across Latin America will also enable it to deliver a more comprehensive portfolio of secure identity solutions for applications ranging from physical and logical access control to highly-secure, government ID solutions. It will also enable an increased response time for servicing customers and partners.
