DAQ Electronics Renovates Facility in Support of Future Growth

DAQ Electronics, a manufacturer of SCADA and integrated security systems, has reached completion of a major renovation of its Piscataway, NJ headquarters. The upgrade provides over 2,300 square feet of additional system production and testing space, and reconfigures the company’s front office area to fit a long-term, growth strategy.

Included in the recent build-out is a new development laboratory and training center to support DAQ’s continuing commitment to the U.S. Army ICIDS (Integrated Commercial Intrusion Detection System) program, as well as a dedicated demonstration space for security software and equipment, including the EntroWatch commercial access control system and the StarWatch SMS enterprise-class security management system. Design of products serving the electric utility market will now be maintained in a SCADA laboratory, equipped with pre-configured testing equipment and customer-focused technology stations.

David Green, president of DAQ, commented, “Our recent success enabled us to move forward with this important facility modification and position our business for future growth. As we shift into new markets and leading-edge technologies, this redesigned workspace will enable us to better meet the needs of our diverse customer base.”

Additional building modifications include a facility-wide upgrade of IT network infrastructure to support emerging IA technology and digital phone line systems.
