ASIS International to Host Transitioning Program and Luncheon

ASIS International to Host Transitioning Program and LuncheonWHO: ASIS International at the ASIS 23rd New York City Security Conference and Expo.

WHAT: Law Enforcement and Military Transitioning Program and Luncheon.

Active-duty law enforcement and military professionals who are preparing to transition to the private security sector are invited to attend Making the Switch from Public Sector to Private Sector Security on May 8, 2013 at the Jacob K. Javits Center in New York City. This special program will be presented as part of the New York City Security Conference and Expo. Led by a relationship-building consultant and a former member of law enforcement who successfully made the switch, this session will provide insights into how to make a successful transition from “patrol car to boardroom.”

A special luncheon will be hosted following the presentation where you will have an opportunity to network with other former law enforcement and military professionals. Attendees are to bring their resume to share and learn more about the requirements for a career in the private security industry.

The presentation and luncheon are free, but seating for the luncheon is limited. To reserve a ticket, go to www.asisonline.org/nyexpo. Select the box on the general registration form for the Law Enforcement and Military Transitional Networking Luncheon – Public to Private.
