New Altronix FireSwitch Networked NAC Power Extenders Deliver More FlexibilityAltronix’s new FireSwitch NAC Networked Power Extenders on display here at ISC West deliver a host of intelligent features including local and remote programming and status monitoring. These new features provide real-time status conditions to cost-effectively determine whether or not a service call is required. FireSwitch is also compatible with protocols from the industry’s leading manufacturers of fire alarm panels.

“The unique local and remote programming, status capabilities and intelligent features built into our new FireSwitch NAC Networked Power Extenders improve overall efficiency,” said Alan Forman, president, Altronix. “The ability to remotely access FireSwitch from your PC saves time and money, and allows for the proper course of action to be taken in the event a problem arises.”

Altronix’s new FireSwitch NAC Networked Power Extenders feature an LCD display on the enclosure’s front panel, and an Ethernet port for local or remote programming and monitoring. NAC outputs are selectable as Class B, Class A or continuous Aux power for a maximum of eight (8) Class B, four (4) Class A or eight (8) continuous Aux power outputs – or a combination of all with battery back-up. In addition, units feature a Class 2 rated power-limited Aux output. FireSwitch incorporates sync protocols for Cooper/Wheelock, Gentex, System Sensor, and Potter notification appliances.
