Southco to Present Electronic Security Product Info Session at AFCOM Data Center World ConferenceSouthco will present a product information session at the AFCOM 2013 Spring Data Center World Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada on Tuesday, April 30. Enhanced Physical Security with Remote Control and Monitoring of Rack Level Access will be presented by Southco’s own Steve Spatig, general manager, Electronic Access Solutions (EAS) and Mike Fahy, business development manager, EAS, who will also exhibit at Booth #731 from April 30 through May 1.

Security is one of the most critical issues that data center managers face today – whether it’s cyber security or physical security of the building. As paper-based information continues to go digital, regulatory bodies are placing a stronger emphasis on data protection, making it more important than ever for data center managers to ensure that their security administration meets industry standards – including physical access at the rack level.

Southco’s rack-level electronic access solutions increase security and enable audit trail and remote monitoring capabilities. The product information session will provide an overview of the solutions available for physical access control and monitoring at the rack level, and the integration of these systems into the overall data center security system.
