Lobby Security for Energy Company Headquarters Provided by Smarter Security

Lobby Security for Energy Company Headquarters Provided by Smarter SecuritySmarter Security, Inc., provider of entrance control and outdoor security solutions today announced that a multi-billion-dollar energy company recently installed Fastlane Glassgate 200 optical turnstiles in the lobby of its new Texas corporate headquarters. The customer had Fastlane Plus turnstiles securing its previous headquarters, and with more than five years of reliable performance and service, the company was convinced no other supplier was worth consideration.

“Energy is a huge industry here in Texas and where there is that much business at stake, security is important to the organization,” said Jeff Brown, CEO of Smarter Security. “We are pleased to partner with this energy company to help provide effective entry security as it continues to grow. It is a complement to our team and our entry security solutions when a happy customer eagerly returns to buy more Fastlane turnstiles from Smarter Security.”

The customer installed five lanes of Fastlane Glassgate 200, with four-foot high glass, to control access into the main lobby entrance of its new headquarters. Since opening its previous headquarters with two lanes of Smarter Security’s Fastlane Plus 400MA, rapid growth led to the company’s expansion into other office buildings. This new headquarters consolidates these various properties into one that required more entry lanes in the lobby. Fastlane from Smarter Security was an obvious choice due to the security effectiveness and reliability of the first installation, and the customer chose Glassgate because it wanted high technology with cutting-edge design for its new building. The tall glass of Glassgate 200 is not only an aesthetic upgrade, but it also better deters and obstructs entry by intruders.

Fastlane Glassgate 200 is the original, swinging-glass barrier turnstile in Smarter Security’s Fastlane line and retains its appeal due to its slim and sleek design, three options in barrier-glass height, and proven reliability. It features the same core Fastlane optical technology as found in the Glassgate 150, 250, and 400 models. This distributed intelligence architecture provides the highest alarm accuracy, ¼” tailgate detection, and a faster entry to help workers get to their offices sooner.
