Advanced Technology Video Announces ONVIF Profile S Compliance

Advanced Technology Video Announces ONVIF Profile S ComplianceAdvanced Technology Video (ATV), a provider of innovative video security surveillance solutions, announces ONVIF Profile S compliance for its ATV IP solutions, cameras and encoder products. Profile S compliance is a higher standard than the existing core ONVIF compliant specification.

ONVIF Profile S lists features to which manufacturers must conform to be listed as Profile S compliant. All devices claiming Profile S (mandatory) must support RTSP streaming of MJPEG video, allow configuration of video stream settings, allow user authentication, and support check device capabilities. Additional (conditional) requirements (if supported) include MPEG4 and H.264 video streaming, PTZ control, audio streaming, relay outputs, dynamic DNS and more.

By ensuring the ATV IP products conform to ONVIF Profile S, ATV guarantees that its IP products integrate seamlessly with third-party products which also comply with the ONVIF Profile S specification. This offers customers the ability to select products that best suit their specific project requirements.

The ATV IP ONVIF Profile S product line includes the Mini-Cube series, IP Full-Body models, IP Interior Domes, IP Vandal Domes, IP Encoder, IP Bullet Cameras, IP PTZ and the newest model – the IP Height Strip for retail applications.

Advanced Technology Video Announces ONVIF Profile S ComplianceATV IP products with ONVIF Profile S compliance are available in both national and regional security distribution locations.
