RS2 Releases Access It! Universal Version 4

RS2 has announced the official release of its Access It! Universal Version 4 access control software, the latest edition of Access It! Universal. This is one of the access control industry's software packages. Among its more than 50 exciting new features and options, Version 4 includes support for the new Mercury M5 Bridge Casi replacement hardware, support for TLS encryption (for host to SCP communications), support for PIV-I cards, and a variety of new reports, such as Alarm Zone History & Listing, Interval History & Listing, and Offline Devices.

The new features of Access It! Universal Version 4 are too numerous to list here, but a few of the more notable ones include: 

  • User Groups can now control what commands a user can send to a reader;
  • Honeywell Mercury hardware is now natively supported;
  • Added "View Selected" functionality to Readers/Inputs/Outputs/IP Locksets/Other Hardware/Card Groups/Floor Codes/Time zones/Holidays/User Groups/Users for additional granularity; and
  • Mercury based alarm zones can now be placed on a map and controlled from the map.
