OnSSI Ocularis Drives BCDVideo AppliancesThrough a new joint technology agreement with OnSSI, BCDVideo in Northbrook, IL is launching the new EVO Appliance Series. Purpose-built specifically to deliver the functionality of OnSSI’s Ocularis Video Management System (VMS), the EVO Series provides a cost-efficient turnkey video surveillance solution ideal for small and medium business applications.

For stand-alone sites or organizations with multiple locations requiring central monitoring, the EVO Series is designed to upgrade or replace DVRs with added performance and value.

The EVO Series NVR is now available preloaded and validated with 16 OnSSI Ocularis PS licenses, expandable to 26, per unit, using any combination of analog-IP cameras. The first model includes 16 analog ports for hybrid appliances, and the second model is capable of managing up to 26 IP video streams. These appliances are protected by a five-year, worldwide, HP, on-site warranty. Ocularis PS is a full featured VMS with PSIM functionality including centralized management of physical security, content analytics and other systems at multiple sites. The solutions are easily scalable to any size and include Ocularis Web and Mobile clients to provide remote monitoring, camera control and playback of up to 16 video streams in real-time, at full frame rates, over limited bandwidth.
