Latest March Networks Video Management Solutions Receive Lenel Factory Certification

Latest March Networks Video Management Solutions Receive Lenel Factory CertificationMarch Networks, a provider of intelligent IP video solutions, has received factory certification from Lenel Systems International for OnGuard 2013 and 2012 on the latest release of its Command Video Management System (VMS) software and new 8000 Series Hybrid Network Video Recorders (NVRs). This certification provides organizations with a cohesive IP video surveillance and access control solution that enables faster incident response times, better risk mitigation and more efficient system management. Lenel, a producer of access control security, is a part of UTC Building & Industrial Systems, a unit of United Technologies Corp.

“By combining our open video management portfolio with leading access control systems such as those manufactured by Lenel, we are addressing demand from customers for stronger, more secure solutions,” said Net Payne, chief marketing officer, March Networks. “We are pleased to confirm these latest certifications with OnGuard and continue our membership in the Lenel OpenAccess Alliance Program.”

March Networks Command Release 1.6 and the new 8000 Series Hybrid NVR systems running Visual Intelligence 5.7 software deliver advanced live monitoring, investigation and video surveillance management features across IP and hybrid IP/analog environments. Working together or as separate video surveillance solutions, they support a complete portfolio of IP cameras, encoders and video analytics. The software solutions also allow organizations to transition from traditional closed-circuit television systems to IP video networking cost-effectively and at their own pace.

Customers accessing the Command VMS in their OnGuard interface will enjoy key capabilities including live and recorded video display, dual video display on alarm, and complete video playback and pan-tilt-zoom control. The 8000 Series interface with OnGuard supports live and recorded video playback on demand or alarm, video motion detection (VMD) alarms in the OnGuard Alarm Monitoring application, indication of sync loss on any analog input in the OnGuard System Status Tree, and Enterprise Service Manager integration.

“March Networks has completed required factory testing at Lenel to validate the functionality of its IP video management interface to OnGuard. We look forward to their continued involvement in the Lenel OpenAccess Alliance Program,” said Gidon Lissai, director of strategic alliances, Lenel.
