Minuteman Launches New EnterprisePlus LCD Battery Backup Systems

Minuteman Launches New EnterprisePlus LCD Battery Backup SystemsPara Systems, Inc. announced the latest upgrade to its popular Enterprise Series with the new EnterprisePlus LCD UPS products. These updated battery backup systems protect vital networking, security and communications equipment from all power problems. Upgraded features include an LCD status display for monitoring power and system status, separate standard and extended runtime models, additional outlets, ENERGY STAR certification on select models, and more. All of this adds up to a powerful follow-up to the widely-sold EnterprisePlus UPS series.

The EnterprisePlus LCD provides complete power protection from all electrical problems, including spikes, surges, sags, brownouts, and blackouts, in a versatile rack/tower/wall convertible format. True sine wave electrical output ensures the best power for sensitive electronic equipment. The EnterprisePlus LCD also works with Minuteman’s all-new Sentry HD management software, enabling complete control and management of battery back-up system.

“The Minuteman EnterprisePlus LCD series provides managers of information technology systems, security systems, and communications systems fail-safe protection from all power anomalies and allows higher-level management of mission critical applications,” stated Bill Allen, director of marketing for Minuteman. “Available in five different power ratings ranging from 750VA to 3000VA, the EnterprisePlus LCD offers unmatched flexibility and value.”

Traditionally, all Enterprise Series UPSs have featured the ability to add hours and even days of runtime with XL and EXL battery packs. Each model is now available as a standard runtime version (RT2U), offering cost savings for standard runtime applications, and as an XL version (RTXL2U) which offers the option of adding external battery packs.

“We feel the addition of standard and extended runtime options presents an excellent opportunity to build on the great value the Enterprise Series has always offered,” Allen added. “With savings up to 13% and the same great protection, it’s a win-win for standard runtime users whose applications do not require long battery backup times.”

Select models in the new lineup also meet ENERGY STAR standards for efficiency, allowing users to see decreased utility power costs. This, coupled with the ability to smartly manage attached equipment with the included management software, ensures that EnterprisePlus LCD will be a smart choice for both technical and accounting departments.

Along with the upgraded features are some long-standing strengths of the Enterprise line. EnterprisePlus LCD features line interactive automatic voltage regulation (AVR) for efficient protection, an SNMP communications slot for optional network management of the UPS, and Minuteman’s industry-leading 3-year warranty that includes non-prorated battery coverage. Five-year extended warranty plans are also available.

The new EnterprisePlus LCD is positioned to provide complete power protection for sensitive electronic equipment including servers, data storage, network devices, security systems, phone systems and more.
