UK Biometrics Company ievo Makes US Debut at ISC West

UK Biometrics Company ievo Makes US Debut at ISC WestBiometric fingerprint readers from ievo are now available in the US and will be showcased at ISC West in Las Vegas from the 2-4 April. This is the first time ievo will be demonstrating their leading biometric technology at the show and signifies the beginning of their presence in North America. Based in the United Kingdom, ievo currently manufactures two fingerprint scanners and is set to launch exciting additions to these products which will be exclusively demonstrated at the ISC West show.

Already at the forefront of many high-profile security installations, including a cash office at a world-renowned luxury department store in South London and multiple Premier League Football Clubs, ievo biometric access control readers utilize the industry-acclaimed multispectral imaging technology of Lumidigm, part of HID Global. Developed specifically to overcome the fingerprint capture problems found with conventional imaging systems, Lumidigm technology leverages both surface and deep subsurface characteristics of the skin to provide a secure and convenient one-touch biometric interface.

ievo managing director Shaun Oakes will be present at ISC West.

“The US security market is incredibly active right now and biometrics is becoming more and more common as we begin to use them on our personal possessions such as our mobile phones,” said Oakes. “Our fingerprint readers have become well-established in the UK as the most reliable and robust on the market, creating superior access control systems for multiple industries. ISC West will be an opportunity for us to get a feel for the markets out there and how we can accommodate and enhance our products for them.”

“ievo has built a terrific line of access control terminals around Lumidigm’s multispectral imaging fingerprint sensors,” said Bill Spence, Lumidigm VP sales North America. “Their readers have been a good fit for many of our customers around the world so I have no doubt they will do well here.”

ievo ultimate and micro fingerprint readers as well as the new additions to the ievo product line can be seen at the Paxton booth 7109 from 2-4 April at ISC West.
