Galaxy Control Systems Announces Integration with ASSA ABLOY WiFi and Power over Ethernet Locks

Galaxy Control Systems, a manufacturer of integrated access control, video and security solutions, has announced that its industry renowned System Galaxy Access Control and Management Software now offers integration with the latest intelligent Galaxy Control Systems Announces Integration with ASSA ABLOY WiFi and Power over Ethernet LocksWiFi and Power over Ethernet (PoE) Access Control Locks from ASSA ABLOY, a manufacturer of door opening solutions. This integration further expands Galaxy’s support for emerging access control applications.

“We are excited to expand our extensive list of integrated wireless technologies to provide our customers with best-in-breed intelligent WiFi and PoE locks from ASSA ABLOY,” said Robert Laughlin, president, Galaxy Control Systems. “This integration gives System Galaxy users a great deal of flexibility while helping to save costs when implementing new or expanded access control infrastructure.”

The integration allows System Galaxy users to configure and monitor WiFi and PoE locks from ASSA ABLOY Group brands Corbin Russwin and SARGENT using advanced management capabilities. Functions include sending cardholder information to locks via a facility’s WiFi or PoE network, and the ability to generate detailed reports to track who accessed locks and when they were accessed. System Galaxy’s seamless integration of security and building management functions further enhances customers’ experience with Corbin Russwin and SARGENT intelligent IP-enabled locks.
