New Product of the Year Award Winners Announced

The long awaited and much anticipated New Product of the Year (NPOY) award winners by Security Products magazine have been announced. This award honors the outstanding product development achievements of security equipment manufacturers whose products are considered to be particularly noteworthy in their ability to improve security.

New Product of the Year Award Winners AnnouncedThis is the sixth successful year of this contest with more than 100 entries received. Security Products magazine honored winners in 31 product categories.

“This year was by far the most exciting New Products’ competition we’ve ever had,” said Ralph C. Jensen, editor in chief of Security Products magazine. “There were several categories where there was a tie. Our four commissioned judges found that these products were so close, and in many instances, the exact same score; it was difficult to award one winner.”

To see the entries, Security Products magazine showcased them in the September 2014 issue.

“One of our category winners, Quantum Secure, posted a perfect score with their entry,” said Jensen. “This proves that technology still reigns as the order of the day in the security industry. I know there are more new products available in the security world, and I would sure like to see more technology.”

NPOY winners will be recognized at ASIS International 2014 in Atlanta during September 29-October 1 by receiving their awards. Winners will also be featured on the security industry leading website, security-today.com, and highlighted in Security Products magazine December 2014 issue.
