ONVIF to Exhibit at 60th Annual ASIS International Seminar and Exhibition

ONVIF, a global standardization initiative for IP-based physical security products, announced that it will exhibit at the 60th Annual ASIS International Seminar and Exhibition, September 29-October 2, 2014, in Atlanta, Georgia.

At Booth 4861, ONVIF will be hosting conversations with conference attendees regarding their experiences with ONVIF in the marketplace. This feedback will provide invaluable insight into the market’s expectations for the standard in the future.

“The growth in ONVIF acceptance over the last five years underscores the industry’s need for a common interface for effective interoperability within different components of a security system,” said Per Björkdahl, chairman of ONVIF’s Steering Committee. “As we look forward, we are asking the marketplace for feedback regarding its experience with ONVIF-conformant products and are interested in the issues that attendees would like ONVIF to address in the future.”

Founded in 2008, ONVIF now consists of nearly 500 member companies and more than 3,500 Profile conformant products. With Profile S for streaming video, Profile G for recording and storage and Profile C for physical access control and IP video integration available to the market, ONVIF continues to work with its members to expand the number of solutions ONVIF conformant products can provide.
