US Security Associates Gathers in Company's Hometown for ASIS

This month, managers and executives from U.S. Security Associates (USA) are making plans to gather in the security company’s hometown of Atlanta, Ga. for the ASIS International 60th Annual Seminar and Exhibits. ASIS International is the leading organization of security management professionals, with 38,000 members worldwide. ASIS is holding its annual seminar from September 29 to October 2 at the Georgia World Congress Center. More than 20,000 attendees from over 80 countries are traveling to Atlanta for ASIS 2014.

In addition to more than 250 educational sessions and 700 exhibits of security technology and services, the conference itinerary includes a variety of networking events, beginning on Sunday with pre-seminar tours and the 17th annual ASIS Foundation golf tournament. The Young Professionals Reception, the New Member Reception, and the Welcome Reception are also slated for Sunday. Throughout the week, there are daily networking luncheons, special interest breakfasts, receptions, and dinners.

U.S. Security Associates is hosting several events, including a Monday lunch at Ray’s in the City and a Tuesday lunch at Der Biergarten. On Monday evening, USA is providing exclusive access to the newly opened College Football Hall of Fame, where guests can dine, drink, and test their skills on the Hall of Fame’s full-size indoor football field. On Tuesday evening, the company is treating guests to dinner, drinks, and a private tour at Atlanta’s famed Sweetwater Brewery.

From ASIS-sponsored functions to USA-hosted gatherings and beyond, ASIS 2014 offers unparalleled opportunities for security services professionals to make valuable contacts, strengthen business relationships, and advance their careers in the global security marketplace. ASIS President Geoff T. Craighead, CPP describes the conference as the "epicenter for security education and technology." The expo includes everything from networking events to certification classroom reviews to sessions on operational and cyber security, current global threats like the terrorist group ISIS and the Ebola outbreak, and security management best practices.

Jon Huntsman, Jr., former governor of Utah and the 9th U.S. Ambassador to China is delivering the keynote address at the general session on Tuesday. General Colin L. Powell, 65th U.S. Secretary of State, is the keynote speaker on Wednesday and Rear Admiral Scott Moore is sharing his insights at the closing lunch on Thursday.

US Security Associates is located next to a key entrance at Booth #1105. The company’s newly appointed president & CEO, Richard Wyckoff, will be in the booth joining senior executives and National Account representatives from around the country.

"We are looking forward to demonstrating some of the technology and service capabilities that differentiate U.S. Security Associates in the security services marketplace," commented Alton Harvey, senior vice president of national accounts. “We are also excited to host our clients, prospects, and colleagues here in Atlanta, home of our national headquarters.”
