Altronix NetWay PoE Solutions Support a Myriad of IP System Applications

Altronix is displaying its enhanced line of NetWay PoE Solutions at ASIS 2014. NetWay midspans are the best way to deliver PoE, PoE+ or Hi-PoE to a variety of edge devices and ensure there’s power even if the network goes down. Designed for a myriad of IP applications, a wide range of NetWay products can be conveniently located indoors or outdoors.

“Security systems are mission critical and require power solutions that deliver quality, reliability and performance,” said Alan Forman, president, Altronix. “NetWay PoE Solutions are engineered to improve system performance and reliability, while facilitating a number of different IP applications.”

Available with one, 8, and 16 ports with management capability, NetWay midspans makes powering IP devices as easy as plug and play. NetWay repeaters, which are now PoE/PoE+ compliant, extend Ethernet range up to 500 meters in 100 meter increments – that’s five times standard Ethernet.

In addition to powering IP surveillance cameras and peripherals, NetWay PoE Solutions are also compatible with IP phones, access control edge devices, Wi-Fi repeaters, etc.

As with all Altronix products, NetWay PoE Solutions are made in the U.S.A. and backed by a lifetime warranty.

Hexagon’s Accur8vision is a volumetric detection system that employs LiDAR technology to safeguard entire areas. Whenever it detects movement in a specified zone, it automatically differentiates a threat from a nonthreat, and immediately notifies security staff if necessary. Person detection is carried out within a radius of 80 meters from this device. Connected remotely via a portable computer device, it enables remote surveillance and does not depend on security staff patrolling the area.
