Three Divisions Approach K12 Lockdown Needs

Napco Security Technologies, Inc., Amityville, NY, a source in some private and public schools and districts across the country, from Los Angeles Unified, to Boston Public and  Houston ISD,  has been addressing and educating school boards and K12 stakeholders across the country on security technology solutions. Last month in NY and OH, Napco introduced its divisions, Alarm Lock, ContinentalAccess and Marks, LocDown products designed for educational buildings and doors. Furthermore, last week, the company was a sponsor of the Security100 K12 Summit in Arizona.

As part of Napco's ongoing school security initiative, helping to create safer K-12 schools, Napco has met with great interest and thanks from administrators, facility managers and local PTAs, and campus safety pros, presenting its SAVI, the Security Access-Control Vulnerability Index and Whitepaper,  based on its brand-agnostic evaluation tool. Napco offers a range, from economical local lock-down with a key from the inside-door, to a electronic activation with portable teachers' keyfobs, or across the school using a wireless lock network, activated from any one lock or the school server and locked-down in under 10-seconds. Campus-wide, Napco offers a full enterprise solution, integrating video, alarms, access control, locks, IDs, threat-level- and visitor-management, well-known for lowest operating costs.
