SecurityTronix Reveals Latest IP Video Test Monitor with Image Display

The SecurityTronix team has developed the ST-IP-TEST, a new IP camera test monitor designed for maintenance and installation of IP and analog cameras. The user-friendly design and multi-function capabilities make the ST-IP-TEST meter an essential tool for installers and technicians by improving and simplifying installations and system maintenance.

The new meter features an intuitive interface showcasing a combination of a 7" touch screen and push button navigation. The 800x600 TVL video screen enables high quality network HD or analog camera displays. The tester offers IP and analog PTZ control, ONVIF compatibility, and supports various IP camera brands across the market. Additional functions include audio signal generation, cable identification, and the ability to test LAN or telephone cable types including conductor sequence verification. Other features include a 24W PoE power supply, 12VDC 2A power output, and a convenient LED Lamp.

"I cannot count how many times I have been asked for a tool like this when visiting distributors or exhibiting at tradeshows,” said SecurityTronix division manager Jennifer Kern. "All units I had seen would do everything but IP camera image display. We took this as a challenge and had our engineering team design a solution. This is how the ST-IP-TEST test meter came to be. This is another great evolution for the security market. The best part of this process is to hear the feedback, ‘I love it’ from the installers who had an opportunity to use the new meter.”
