Clinton's E-mail System Not As Secure As Intended

According to reports, Hillary Clinton set up a private e-mail system a week before becoming secretary of state. This allowed her to erase messages completely, according to security experts.

This system wasn't bulletproof, however, as a misconfigured encryption system left it vulnerable to hacking. Clinton recently posted on Twitter saying she wants the public to see all of the e-mail from her tenure as secretary of state.

“There are tons of disadvantages of not having teams of government people to make sure that mail server isn’t compromised,” said Alex McGeorge, head of threat intelligence at Immunity Inc. “It’s just inherently less secure.”
