3VR Launches New Video Surveillance Appliance, Expands Sales Channel

3VR recently announced that the company has enhanced its lineup of video surveillance appliances with a new network video recorder (NVR) for ATMs and has expanded its sales channel through agreements with four manufacturers' representative firms.

"3VR is maintaining its momentum from 2014 by continuing to design products for high-growth markets and by expanding our sales channels," said Jeff Karnes, senior vice president of marketing and operations. "We are looking forward to another successful ISC West and another year of record growth as we increase our presence in the loss prevention, business intelligence and VMS markets."

The new 2100-Series NVR for ATM installations is a powerful video appliance that helps financial institutions investigate and analyze common ATM crimes like burglary or skimming. Its compact design and temperature rating allow it to be used in small kiosks where space is a premium and extreme heat or cold can be issues.

The 2100-Series NVR supports four IP cameras, comes pre-loaded with VisionPoint VMS video management software, and offers seamless integration with point-of-sale, access control, ATM, teller, and other external systems. Its enterprise-class hard drive and low power consumption make it a reliable video recording solution that can be used as part of a large enterprise system or as a standalone ATM NVR.

In addition to the 2100-Series NVR, 3VR has added four manufacturers' representative firms to its distribution channel, effectively expanding product availability in the Midwestern and Southeastern United States as well as Canada.

Datastrait is now offering 3VR products to security dealers throughout North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin, and northern Illinois. Founded in 1996, Datastrait has introduced game-changing new technologies, installation practices, supply chain management, and network design for everyone involved in the data communications infrastructure business.

Manufacturers Solution Alliance (MSA) is now offering 3VR products to dealers in Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, southern Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Mississippi, Missouri and Tennessee. MSA partners with industry-leading manufacturers to provide the products, service, technical expertise, and creativity to design flexible, cost-efficient communications infrastructure and maximize network performance.

SP DYNAMIC now offers 3VR products to security integrators in central and eastern Canada including Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland and Labrador. SP DYNAMIC is a manufacturers' representative based out of Waterloo, Ontario, and has more than 25 years of experience in the security industry.

Structured Innovations now represents 3VR in Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, western Pennsylvania and West Virginia. It is an independent manufacturers' representative specializing in products related to the voice, data and communications industries.

With the addition of these four firms, 3VR now works with 10 manufacturers' representatives across the United States and Canada. The program expands 3VR's sales channel, providing more opportunities to reach customers looking for real-time video security solutions and customer insights.

The company will also be showcasing its other video intelligence products at ISC West, including hybrid NVRs, video management and investigation software, and a robust suite of video analytics software.
