Theia Debuted 4K 4-10mm 12MP Lens at ISC West 2015

Theia Technologies demonstrated the first prototype of its new TL410 4-10mm, 12.4 megapixel, IR corrected 4K lens at ISC West 2015.

The new lens is designed for the popular 1/ 1.7” 4K image sensors or smaller to resolve the 1.85 micron size pixels.

The varifocal lens boasts the fastest F number in the industry for that sensor at f/1.4 for excellent light gathering ability. And the lens is the most compact available in the 4K category to date. At only 64mm long and 59mm in diameter, the lens is designed to fit in dome cameras.

The lens will be offered in numerous configurations, including with motorized focus, zoom, and IR cut filter, photo-interrupters, manual, DC auto and P iris options, and CS, C and D25 board mount versions.

Production is planned for the third quarter of 2015.
