Vanderbilt Debuts Expanded Product Portfolio at IFSEC International 2015

Vanderbilt Industries announced it will showcase its latest innovations during IFSEC International 2015, held June 16-18, at ExCeL London. IFSEC marks the first time the Vanderbilt organization will exhibit its expanded solutions suite since it completed its purchase of the Security Products business from Siemens.

Active in 95 countries worldwide, Vanderbilt currently supplies and supports more than 9,000 customers, and offers 2,000 products. IFSEC International 2015 allows the Vanderbilt team to meet directly with integration partners and end users to highlight the company’s expanded geographic reach, showcase its upgraded product suite and further outline the company’s worldwide presence in the industry.

“As the key event in the European security calendar, IFSEC International 2015 provides an excellent platform to introduce Vanderbilt to our customer base and highlight our credentials as a uniquely independent organization,” said Andrew Morgan, head of marketing, Vanderbilt. “We look forward to welcoming visitors to our stand, where our team of experts will be available to discuss the rich features and benefits of our cutting-edge innovations, and discuss the benefits of working with our organization.”

Vanderbilt will showcase its award-winning access control systems, lite blue, bright blue and SMS, alongside the latest product developments, including the Aliro access control system, the Vectis iX family of IP-based video recording solutions and the SPC intruder-detection range.

Suitable for small- to medium-sized commercial applications, the flexible yet robust Aliro access control solution incorporates easy-to-use, Web-based software and intuitive mobile features. Shipped pre-configured for distributed applications, Aliro supports up to 512 doors, 10,000 users and 100,000 access cards. Visitors also are able to see first-hand how it works with MiFare card readers through an integrated LED-based screen that facilitates cardholder interaction by displaying bespoke messages.

When it comes to high-definition (HD) video, the Vectis iX range of IP video recording solutions offers unrivalled performance for customers that need to capture the utmost video imagery. Setting new benchmarks in functionality, compatibility and speed while ensuring long-term performance and reliability, Vectis iX is fully scalable and suitable for a diverse range of applications. It comprises self-contained network video recorders and network video software, which are capable of recording full-HD images from up to 48 3-megapixel cameras simultaneously at 25fps, and can support resolutions up to 20-megapixel. Also on display will be a range of ONVIF-compatible video surveillance cameras including a day/night 3-megapixel PTZ dome camera with 18x optical zoom that is considered to be a global first.

Products from the well-known SPC intruder detection range will also be featured at the stand, including the recently launched SPC Compact Keypad, which features a slim, intuitive user interface that brings the power and sophistication of the SPC system to a user’s fingertips. With a depth of just 17.5mm, the SPCK520 offers display and speech output, the SPCK521 adds an ID card reader.

Joining Aliro, SPC and Vectis iX will be the new Magic PDM-IXx12/T and PDM-IXx18/T dual motion detectors, which offer reliable detection of intruders and high false alarm immunity. These will appear alongside the new day/night 3MP PTZ dome camera, with 18x optical zoom that is considered a truly viable alternative to the “shoebox” housing PTZ cameras that are often used for perimeter surveillance.
