Viscount Systems to Showcase Next-generation Access Control Solutions at ASIS 2015

Viscount Systems, Inc a software company specializing in physical and logical security solutions, will be highlighting its unified, software-centric access control platform at the upcoming ASIS 2015 Conference and Expo in Anaheim, Calif., from Sept. 28 to Oct. 1.

One of the leading security trade shows in the world, ASIS International attracts more than 20,000 international security manufacturers, integrators and end users to its in-depth seminars, training sessions, demos and trade show floor for industry networking, growth and collaboration. This year’s show will focus on a number of growing trends, from cyber security and malware to the growing corporate focus on security and counter-terrorism.

Viscount’s presence at ASIS builds upon recent initiatives to further build its leadership position in the physical and logical security markets. The company recently appointed Scott Sieracki, formerly VP of Sales, as Interim CEO to lead the charge in assisting the continued growth and corporate evolution. Sieracki’s leadership expertise has helped reenergize Viscount’s mission to revolutionize unified access control and identity management systems.

Viscount also reported positive second quarter results, with a 53-percent increase in total revenue from sales bookings. Sales increased by 113 percent for Freedom, 7 percent for MESH and 51 percent for Enterphone products, showing that the recent, aggressive sales strategies have helped secure future growth.

Viscount owes much of its financial success to the growing commercial acceptance of Freedom, its premier access control suite designed for a more complex threat environment and inherently flexible to deploy in the evolving IT infrastructure of government and private organizations. Freedom Access Control bridges the gap between the physical, logical and cyber security worlds with a software-centric, standards-based approach to physical access control and identity management.

“Our unified physical-logical technologies enable users to gather critical access control data and make informed decisions based on actionable intelligence,” Sieracki said. “This approach enables our customers to be more proactive with their security efforts. It is our goal to deliver technologies that enable customers to have greater visibility into today’s new threat environment and provide a unified platform approach to physical, logical and cyber security polices. We look forward to sharing this vision with the attendees of this year’s ASIS conference.”
