Effective January 1, 2016, Doug Richard will take over leading Midwest Alarm Services

Effective January 1, 2016, Doug Richard will take over leading Midwest Alarm Services.  Richard is a 14 year employee of Midwest Alarm and has served in several roles from Sales to his recent position as Operations Manager.  Richard will work for a few months in transition with current President Dustin Smyth, who is retiring after 18 years.

Richard is a University of Iowa graduate and is excited about being given the chance to lead the Midwest team. When asked about this opportunity he said “I am fortunate to work with the best team in the life safety industry. ”

Midwest Alarm Services is a 65 year old Des Moines business.  One of the largest Notifier Fire Protection dealers in the country, Midwest Alarm Services offers parts, service, and inspections to its customer base and prospects throughout the states of Iowa, Illinois, and Wisconsin.
