Rodo Group Joins OnSSI’s Growing Manufacturer Network

OnSSI, the market leader in open-architecture and intelligent IP video surveillance software, has named Rodo Group as its manufacturer representative for Eastern Canada. The Rodo Group will be covering the provinces of New Brunswick, Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Prince Edward Island and Quebec.

“Rodo Group will further increase OnSSI’s presence and sales activity in this expansive and important region,” said Ken LaMarca, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, OnSSI. “Their knowledge of the security industry combined with their sales and technology expertise make them an ideal manufacturer representative for OnSSI.”

Ocularis 5 is offered in three models: Professional – designed for organizations operating small to medium multi-site installations; Enterprise – built for a wide range of mid to large IT-centric organizations; and Ultimate – created for large organizations with extended command and control needs and recording server failover.

“We are excited to add the unequaled performance and cost-effectiveness of Ocularis 5 to our portfolio,” said John Voyatzis, Director of Business Development, Rodo Group. “It allows us to provide our customers with a superior surveillance control and a management platform that increases overall security while helping reduce potential liabilities.”

Amongst numerous other features, Ocularis 5 includes Critical Camera Failover to ensure continuous sight by switching to a failover camera in as little as two seconds; hardware efficiency, allowing generic settings to be copied across multiple channels for faster installation; and stronger network security with end-to-end encryption. Ocularis 5 also features better storage management with automatic optimization of hard drive volumes and load balancing across multiple storage components.
