Live From ISC West Day 1

Day 1 of ISC West kicked off with some exciting innovation as well as some award winning products

ISC West this year is being covered a little differently by securitytoday.com in an effort to give readers at home an inside look at the product announcements and other happenings in Vegas. Day 1 did not disappoint, with a number of visits that were captured on our live stream page over at securitytoday.com/pages/isc-west.

Salient Systems has a number of new products on display, including integrated PoE NVRs that allow simultaneous operation as a server, switch and client. The NVRs are also available in bundles, which include simplified ordering and software updates.

Another impressive development by Salient Systems is a new social media feed that can associate social media data with video in the CompleteView software. Both products were on display at the Salient booth.

Next, Talk-a-phone was awarded a 2016 Govie for its Wall Mounted Call Box with E-Stop. The product earned a Platinum award in the Emergency Communication Systems category. The company is also excited about showing up its Emergency Phone Wall Mount, which saw a number of inquiries during a short visit.

BCD Video has partnered with Genetec this year, and a visit to the Genetect booth saw an entire booth setup powered by BCD Video. The Open Options booth was packed during one visit, and more coverage will be shared over the final two days of ISC West 2016.
