Security Pros Running for a Cause

On Thursday, April 7, the security industry offers a unique way for professionals to give back – by participating in a 5K Run/2K Walk. All proceeds earned from the event will be donated to Mission 500, and organization that helps the security industry sponsor and save kids through the World Vision humanitarian organization.

For those participating, bibs and shirts can be picked at the Mission 500 booth on Wednesday, April 6. The booth will be open from 10AM until 4PM, but participants can also pick up their race bibs and shirts on the day of the race. Shuttle buses will also be at the Sands Convention Taxi Ramp to pick up racers from 6:15AM-6:45AM. Races are welcome to seek other means of transportation, as well.

Thursday evening, there will be an Awards Ceremony for those who participated in the race. Best race time in all categories and all 500 Club members will be honored.
