New Arlo Q Plus Camera Addresses Security Needs of Small Businesses

NETGEAR, Inc. is addressing the security needs of small businesses with the launch of its ArloTM Q Plus - 1080p HD Security Camera with PoE (VMC3040S). Arlo Q Plus has in-demand features such as: brilliantly detailed 1080p high-definition video, two-way audio, rolling seven days of free cloud storage for video recordings — and now also offers wired Ethernet connectivity that supports Power over Ethernet (PoE). In addition, Arlo Q Plus has a Micro Secure Digital (MicroSD) memory card1 slot for easy local recording backup to continue recording in the event of a network interruption.

Arlo Q Plus brings the simplicity of a DIY smart home product to small and medium business owners, providing an ideal solution for tracking around-the-clock activity within shops and offices, at building entrances, in storage rooms, on loading docks, and by cash registers. Within just a few minutes, a business owner can customize sound or motion alerts and access live video feeds. With the included rolling seven days of cloud recordings, the business owner can easily access and view previously recorded videos. The optional Continuous Video Recording (CVR) plan offers 24/7 non-stop video recording for business-critical applications such as monitoring a cash register.
