Audio and Video Technology Displayed at ISC West

When you think of audio technology, Louroe Electronics is one company that generally comes to mind first because of their audio monitoring technology. At ISC West this year, Louroe showcased two new products, the Verifact A USB microphone and AOP530 speaker microphone. Both products have major improvements on network device integration, installation time and sound clarity.

The Verifact A USB microphone features a USB connection and enables direct connection to USB hubs or computers, simplifying installation and creating plug-and-play audio for almost any application.

The AOP530 is a two-way speaker microphone with echo cancellation and full-duplex communication. The AOP530 connects directly to IP cameras and encoders that support two-way, line level audio. It also has vandal-resistant housing.

For scalable video surveillance storage, Equus Compute Solutions had their cost effective server architectures on display at their ISC West booth last week. The server and storage chassis are ideal for supporting the advanced data storage requirements for today's in-vehicle and body-worn cameras. Equus Compute Systems is a custom computer manufacturer and offers competitive prices – with superior logistics and support – to service providers, independent software vendors/original equipment manufacturers (ISVs/OEMs) and enterprise value-added resellers (VARs).

Equus partners with WatchGuard Video and Open-E in a solution that meets the time and storage demands vital for law enforcement agencies' surveillance security camera data. WatchGuard Video, the world's largest manufacturer of law enforcement video systems, supplies in-car and body-worn cameras along with evidence management software. Open-E provides the IP-based storage management software for data backup and storage. The cost-optimized Equus high-density storage servers (HDSS) enables law enforcement agencies to run video surveillance without delay or interruptions 24/7/365.

Both of these companies were a great addition to ISC West, and are definitely worth keeping an eye on for years to come.
