Total Recall Corporation will showcase its video surveillance and citywide safety solutions at ASIS NYC Security Conference and Expo.

Total Recall Corporation will showcase its video surveillance and citywide safety solutions – including a new 180-degree CrimeEye unit – at the 27th annual ASIS NYC Security Conference and Expo to be held on June 7-8, 2017, at the Javits Center in New York City.

“Total Recall Corporation has been a leader in developing the latest in technologically advanced security solutions, and we’re excited to launch our new180-degree CrimeEye-RD-2 video surveillance unit to our peers at ASIS NYC,” said Total Recall President Jordan Heilweil.

ASIS NYC is an annual two-day event that features educational sessions on current security challenges, an exhibition of more than 100 solution providers, and networking opportunities with more than 2,500 peers from the public and private sectors. It is hosted by the New York Chapter of ASIS International, the leading organization for security professionals.

Show attendees are encouraged to visit Total Recall Corporation at ASIS NYC Booth 313 to demo the latest in video surveillance security solutions, including:

  • CrimeEye-RD-2 with 180-degree Axis camera—The CrimeEye-RD-2 with optional Axis Q3708-PVE offers a fixed-dome video surveillance camera with multiple sensors, resulting in a 180-degree panoramic view. Although the unit has three sensors, it only uses one IP address. The 180-degree camera features enhanced light sensitivity as well as WDR-Forensic Capture, which allows for expansive coverage of large areas even in challenging light conditions. The Axis Q3708-PVE’s factory-focused lenses eliminate the need for manual focusing. Axis’ Zipstream technology lowers bandwidth and storage requirements and allows the use of cellular transmission more efficiently with a multi-imager camera.
  • CrimeEye-RD-2—The latest version of the original CrimeEye-RD with a smaller and lighter design, which features advanced electronics and exciting new features. Equipped with HDTV-quality Axis dome network cameras, the CrimeEye-RD-2 unit provides high-quality video surveillance streaming in just minutes.
  • CrimeEye—The original and comprehensive CrimeEye citywide video surveillance solution protecting millions of Americans every day.
  • BriefCam® products that are powered by Video Synopsis® technology and offer a powerful set of video review tools for locating events of interest rapidly and accurately.

  • Gaining a Competitive Edge

Ask most companies about their future technology plans and the answers will most likely include AI. Then ask how they plan to deploy it, and that is where the responses may start to vary. Every company has unique surveillance requirements that are based on market focus, scale, scope, risk tolerance, geographic area and, of course, budget. Those factors all play a role in deciding how to configure a surveillance system, and how to effectively implement technologies like AI. Read Now

  • The Stage is Set

The security industry spans the entire globe, with manufacturers, developers and suppliers on every continent (well, almost—sorry, Antarctica). That means when regulations pop up in one area, they often have a ripple effect that impacts the entire supply chain. Recent data privacy regulations like GDPR in Europe and CPRA in California made waves when they first went into effect, forcing businesses to change the way they approach data collection and storage to continue operating in those markets. Even highly specific regulations like the U.S.’s National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) can have international reverberations – and this growing volume of legislation has continued to affect global supply chains in a variety of different ways. Hexagon’s Accur8vision is a volumetric detection system that employs LiDAR technology to safeguard entire areas. Whenever it detects movement in a specified zone, it automatically differentiates a threat from a nonthreat, and immediately notifies security staff if necessary. Person detection is carried out within a radius of 80 meters from this device. Connected remotely via a portable computer device, it enables remote surveillance and does not depend on security staff patrolling the area. 3
