Dortronics’ AIA-Accredited Lunch and Learn Courses Receive Enthusiastic Interest from Professional Security Community

Sessions Help Users Navigate Door and Lock Options

Since launching the program at ISC West in April, Dortronics has seen high demand for its AIA-accredited Lunch and Learn courses, with a wide range of companies taking advantage of the valuable information and insight the two courses provide into the available options in doors and locks.

“When we developed these two Lunch and Learn courses, we anticipated that users would see value in them, but we have been extremely pleased with the level of interest we’ve seen within just the first month,” said Bryan Sanderford, National Sales Manager, Dortronics Systems, Inc. “We look forward to continuing the Lunch and Learn program to provide in-depth learning opportunities to help users understand the ins and outs of two locking technologies in a relaxed, informal setting.”

Electronic Locking Devices provides a solid foundation for working with electronic door locks, as instructors discuss the wide variety of these solutions, their applications and accessory devices used to control them.

Door Interlocks: Applications and System Design addresses the growing popularity of interlocking door controls in facility security, reviewing the many options and applications for interlocks, mantraps, sally ports.  Among the solutions discussed in depth is the highly versatile, economical and field-configurable Dortronics 4800 Series Smart Interlock Controller.

These one-hour courses are AIA-accredited, with attendees receiving a certificate for one AIA learning unit upon completion. The Lunch and Learn courses may be conducted at a customer’s or end user’s facility, where Dortronics will provide both the educational content and lunch for attendees.
