Dortronics Showcases Innovative Door Control Solutions at ISC West 2018

Dortronics Systems, Inc., a leading manufacturer of state-of-the-art access control solutions, will showcase its unique portfolio of products with new levels of security at ISC West 2018 in Las Vegas (Booth #1038). Highlights include the 4800 Series Intelligent Interlock Controllers, WR5276-HD Series of Waterproof Push Button Switches, and opportunity for resellers to register for Dortronics’ new Lunch and Learn AIA accredited education offering.

“Dortronics continues to be committed to helping our customers provide a safe and secure environment for their business,” said Bryan Sanderford, National Sales Manager, Dortronics Systems, Inc. “Our door control solutions deliver many advanced security protections and operational efficiencies across a wide range of industries, and we are excited to show are latest solutions at ISC West.”

The Dortronics 4800 Series Interlock Controllers offers users the capability to configure the controller in the field to accommodate up to five doors, with flexibility for various input/output configurations. Additional design features include a unique watchdog circuit that constantly monitors operation; LED indicators for input/output connection status; voltage spike and surge protection on all outputs; and adjustable propped door, panic release, and door unlock timers. Dortronics 4800 Series Smart Interlock Door Controllers are available as a board-only module or complete with a heavy duty 4-amp power supply.

Dortronics Waterproof Push Button Switches are available in two series, both rated for harsh environments. The WR5276-HD22 Series features an IP-66 rating and includes a neoprene gasket, making it ideal for use outdoors in harsh conditions, and in areas such as cleanrooms that require wash-downs. When used with card access systems or automatic door openers, the switches’ double pole, dry contact outputs can be wired to signal a door to unlock. The WR5276-HD28/29 Series is vandal resistant, waterproof and features an IP-65 rating and timer options that can either be fixed or adjustable. Both products are manufactured with brushed stainless steel in standard switch plate sizes with standard engraved legends. Custom plates and text are available with a quick turnaround time.

Dortronics is also offering a new Lunch and Learn Education Session entitled “Door Interlocks: Applications and System Design”. The one-hour AIA-accredited course will cover the various types of door interlocks, man traps, sally ports and their applications, and the most appropriate use for each type and configuration to meet various design criteria. Attendees will receive a certificate for one AIA learning unit upon completion. The Lunch and Learn course may be conducted at a customer or end user facility, where Dortronics will provide both the educational content and lunch for attendees.
