Securitas Electronic Security Donates to Dallas Fallen Officer Foundation

Securitas has donated $6,500 to the Dallas Fallen Officer Foundation.

Securitas Electronic Security, Inc. has donated $6,500 to the Dallas Fallen Officer Foundation (DFOF). The donation was part of the community service program for Securitas Electronic Security (SES).

At the ASIS International Seminar & Exhibit in Dallas, Texas last year, for every visitor to the Securitas Electronic Security booth, the company pledged to donate two dollars to the Dallas Fallen Officer Foundation. DFOF is a police support organization designed to assist the families of law enforcement officers killed or seriously injured in the line-of-duty. Since its inception in 2009, the organization has maintained its strategic goal of lessening the financial and emotional burden placed on officers and their families following catastrophic incidents that result in the officers' death or inability to work.

“We greatly appreciate the donation and support of Securitas Electronic Security. The DFOF relies on the generosity of individuals, organizations, and corporations to carry out our work of the foundation,” said Sergeant Demetrick Pennie, President of Dallas Fallen Officer Foundation.

“Securitas Electronic Security is honored to contribute to and support the Dallas Fallen Officer Foundation, an organization that makes such a critical impact in the lives of these law enforcement families,” said Tony Byerly, President & CEO, Securitas Electronic Security, Inc. “The security industry works very closely with law enforcement and SES is proud to make this donation to an organization dedicated to assisting the families of fallen or injured police officers.”
