PACLOCK Increases Sales Representation with Addition of S J Schilling & Associates

Security hardware manufacturer Pacific Lock Company(PACLOCK) has strengthened its Sales Leaders program by welcoming Ohio-based S J Schilling & Associates. Steve Schilling and his son Fritz, will be responsible for supporting PACLOCK’s presence and brand awareness in six states including Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, western Pennsylvania and the Chicago area.

Steve and Fritz are very valuable to our Sales Leader program,” explained Gregory Waugh, president of PACLOCK. “They have excellent relationships with locksmiths and institutions in the the upper Midwest and Great Lakes regions. The kind of exposure they can generate for our product lines is a huge advantage and fits with our strategy of delivering custom-engineered products to the marketplace. They are very valuable additions and should make a quick impact.”

S J Schilling & Associates of Millersport, Ohio has over 40 years of industry experience specializing in padlocks, pins and door/cabinet hardware sales. Steve serves as president of the company and began his career with Kwikset in 1986, where he worked for 15 years. He enjoyed sales success at Master Lock Company until opening his business. Fritz worked for one of the world’s largest marketing agencies – J. Walter Thompson – before joining forces with his father in 2013. Both have represented numerous hardware lines, increasing sales and marketshare with most.

With PACLOCK, they will be representing the only padlock manufacturer producing Buy American Act compliant padlocks in all three body materials, including SFIC padlocks.

“We feel PACLOCK is a perfect fit for our rep group. Our goal is to provide complimentary products to our customers and, in turn, they find us to be a valuable asset to them because we can provide a wide array of products and solutions,” said Steve Schilling.

“PACLOCK does a great job of providing solutions to their customers rather than telling them, ‘what you see is what you get.’ The best part about their line is Greg and his team are always willing to listen to the customer. They design products that solve an issue or problem that a customer is experiencing continuously. Many times when we come out with a product for a customer, we are able to share a success story so they can use this product for a similar issue.”

Opportunity to offer SFIC padlocks

PACLOCK is earning a reputation for developing profit-enhancing solutions, and its Small Format Interchangeable Core (SFIC) padlocksare proving to be popular for many reasons. Designed to offer superior security with the utmost quality and dependability and significantly reduce the chance for the lock to be shimmed and pulled, they work with 5, 6, and 7-pin cores and come ready to install with any SFIC cylinder.

The line is CNC-machined in the USA from hardened steel, electroless nickel plated for extreme toughness, and is highly resistant to the environment. It also includes a standard 1-3/16-inch hardened steel, quick-change shackle, allowing to easily adapt a padlock to any application. Steve Schilling is excited to share this opportunity with his customers.

“The SFIC padlocks are a huge advantage to facilities using them in their door hardware,” summed up Schilling. “By integrating SFIC into our high quality padlocks, they are able to provide key control and efficiency throughout the entire property. We have school districts, hospitals and amusement parks that are all potential customers for these products for this line. We are looking forward to introducing them to these products.”
