CyberLock Celebrates 20th Anniversary

2019 marks historic milestone for pioneer in smart key systems

CyberLock, Inc., is proud to announce the twentieth anniversary of its revolutionary CyberLock access control system. In an era marked by fleeting companies and ever-shrinking product life-cycles, CyberLock has achieved two decades of steady growth and innovation. The company will commemorate the occasion with a number of promotional events throughout the next twelve months.

CyberLock traces its roots back to the founding of Videx, Inc., in 1979. Paul Davis, the founder and head engineer of Videx, made a name for himself by designing and manufacturing a family of portable data collection terminals that became renowned for their rugged durability. In the late 1990’s, Paul recognized the need for collecting and managing data in the access control market. In designing CyberLock from the ground up, Paul wisely applied the best attributes from his data collection terminals: reliability, portability, and state-of-the-art technology. To this day, Videx proudly designs and manufactures CyberLock products exclusively at its headquarters in Corvallis, Oregon, USA. The company’s commitment to producing quality products has made CyberLock one of the most trusted access control systems on the market today.

With 40 years of design and manufacturing experience, Videx continues to demonstrate its passion for engineering creative, innovative solutions with the recent release of several breakthrough products, including FlashLock, FlashBox, CyberKey Flash, and CyberKey Air II. The CyberLock system also features a new, robust software platform to manage its industry-leading catalog of electronic locks and access control peripherals. The innovation and lasting durability of CyberLock has resulted in the deployment of over 2 million CyberLock cylinders across the globe. The lifelong dedication to supporting and enhancing our existing products reflects the companies’ ongoing commitment to deliver innovative, powerful, and robust solutions for any security application.

To kick off its anniversary celebration, CyberLock plans to release two innovative new products in early 2019!
